Romina Cavallucci brings a wealth of experience in learning and development, talent management, and adult training, cultivated across diverse international corporate environments. Her career demonstrates a consistent focus on driving organizational growth through strategic human capital initiatives.
Currently, as the Global Director of Learning & Development at Carrefour since November 2024, Ms. Cavallucci is responsible for defining and implementing a comprehensive global learning strategy. This includes designing and executing programs specifically tailored for Carrefour's executive leadership and top talents, aiming to foster leadership capabilities and align with the company's strategic objectives on a worldwide scale.
Prior to her global role, Romina served as the Head of Learning and Talent Development at Carrefour Italia from January 2023. In this capacity, she was instrumental in developing and executing learning strategies with a strong emphasis on critical business areas such as Omnichannel, Digital, Sales, and Leadership. Her work focused on cultivating a growth mindset within the organization and establishing robust talent strategies designed to identify, nurture, and retain high-potential employees.
Before joining Carrefour, Romina spent over five years at Nestlé Health Science, where she was Global Capabilities Development Lead, she spearheaded the development and implementation of training, development, and change management strategies including the development of competency frameworks, curriculum design, and the management of e-learning platforms, all aimed at enhancing sales force effectiveness worldwide.

Romina’s earlier career provided a strong foundation in sales development and leadership. From July 2008 to September 2017, she worked as an International Senior Sales Consultant, Trainer & Coach at Mercuri International Italia. Here, she acted as a consultant, trainer, and coach, specializing in sales, sales development, and sales management. Her expertise encompassed a broad range of sales topics, and her focus was consistently on improving sales results and fostering effective leadership within client organizations.
Academically, Romina holds a degree in Diplomacy and International Affairs from Università degli Studi di Trieste (1995-2001), where she graduated with honors. She furthered her education with a Master's in International Cooperation on Economic and Legal Affairs from Università degli Studi di Teramo (2002). Her commitment to professional development is also evident in her extensive certifications on Coaching, Team Coaching, EQ, Appreciative Inquiry and assessment tools such as Hogan and IWAM. Her diverse background and continuous learning demonstrate a dedication to advancing human capital and organizational effectiveness.
