13:15 - 13:55 - Humanizing Leadership to Grow Through Change

Transformation rarely fails because leaders lack a clear vision or a sound strategy. It fails because their organizations struggle to bring the vision to life and put the strategy to work. While they might understand the rationale for transformation, people cannot muster the focused energy to challenge and change habits, norms, and familiar ways of working. Trust erodes, connections loosen, performance falters, and the transformation effort stalls.

The reason that happens so often, INSEAD professor Gianpiero Petriglieri believes, is that traditional, somewhat mechanical models of leadership get in the way of understanding and working with the human layers of transformations. We must humanize leadership - how we understand, portray, and practice it - if we aspire to get what human work is and do it well. The leaders who bring transformation to life are those who come alive first.

In this interactive session, Gianpiero will share a blueprint for humanizing leadership to foster the development of people, communities, organizations, and cultures as a whole. Together, you'll explore:

  • Common reactions to the imperative to transform
  • The difference between mechanistic and humanistic views of leadership
Why humanizing leadership is the key that unlocks lasting transformation
  • How we can develop and sustain that kind of leadership in our daily work

You'll leave with a clearer sense of what it means to build work relations, teams, and organizations that don't just cope well with change but truly grow through it.

Speaker: Gianpiero Petriglieri, Expert on Leadership & Learning in the Workplace and Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior, INSEAD

13:55 - 14:40 - The Human Signals Shaping the Next Era of Work

AI has flattened the workforce landscape even faster than expected. Tools, skills, and AI capabilities are converging, and yet execution gaps are widening. In this keynote, Workhuman Founder and CEO, Eric Mosley, argues that most organizations are rich in data but poor in signal, especially when it comes to understanding how work gets done, where leadership is emerging, and whether people are truly aligned around strategy. In a world where technical capabilities are increasingly interchangeable, competitive differentiation has shifted to human contribution: collaboration, judgment, influence, and leadership in motion.

Speaker: Eric Mosley, Founder, CEO & Board Member, Workhuman

14:40 - 16:00 - Coffee & Networking Break

16:00 - 16:40 - The Change-Capable Organization: Chief People Officers on Leading Transformation

The principles are clear. The pressure to apply them is mounting fast.

In this moderated panel, the Wall Street Journal Chief People Officer Council brings together leaders for a candid conversation about what it takes to build a change-capable organization right now – one where trust runs deep, people stay at the center, and agility becomes a lived reality rather than a buzzword.

This panel will explore:

  • What change-capable leadership demands from the CPO seat today
  • How people leaders are building the human skills and cultures that make transformation stick under pressure
  • Where change stalls, and what separates organizations that adapt quickly from those that fall behind

These leaders will leave you with a ground-level view of how they are building organizations ready to move now, before the next disruption hits.

Speakers: KeyAnna Schmiedl, Chief Human Experience Officer, Workhuman

Gwendolyn (Wendy) Bounds, SVP & Head of Content, WSJ Leadership Institute

16:40 - 17:25 - Where Transformation Breaks or Builds: A Conversation with Dr. Susan David

Technologies advance. Markets shift. Yet organizations still too often approach change as a series of initiatives rather than a permanent operating reality. The result? Burnout, stalled transformation, and teams left wondering whether they can do it all again.

In this in-conversation session, Harvard Medical School psychologist and bestselling author Dr. Susan David will discuss why, while everyone’s talking about the AI revolution, the real competitive advantage is Emotional Agility – a science-backed, learnable set of skills that enables people to navigate complexity with courage, adapt to uncertainty, and turn strategy into sustained organizational capability. Because agile organizations are built by agile people.

Susan will share:

  • Why transformation succeeds or fails at the human level
  • What Emotional Agility is and why it matters more than ever
  • How to lead with courage, steadiness, and values when circumstances are uncertain
  • Why agile people are the foundation of agile organizations

By the end, you’ll have a practical understanding of why Emotional Agility is the human capability behind every successful transformation and how you can begin cultivating it within yourself, your teams, and your organizations.

Moderator: Holly Ramson, Leadership Expert, Bestselling Author, and CEO, Emergent Global

Speaker: Dr. Susan David, Leading Management Thinker, Bestselling Author & Award-Winning Psychologist, Harvard Medical School

 The Skills Cliff

Ryan VaukGoogleVP, AI TransformationBrian GlaserGoogleVice President & Chief Learning Officer
Description

The question isn't whether AI will outpace human capability. It's whether you'll build an AI-ready workforce before it does. We are living through a change in eras, not a change in tools. The organizations that come out ahead will be the ones honest enough to ask what they need to stop doing as much as what they need to start. In this opening keynote, Brian Glaser explores what the AI era means for workforce investment, career development, organizational design and leadership.

Most AI transformation efforts are building literacy when they should be building judgment. There is a difference and closing that gap is now one of the most urgent priorities facing HR and business leaders.

In this session, you'll discover:

  • Why VUCA was just the warm-up act and what the BANI era demands of organizations now
  • The collapse of traditional career pathways and what replaces them
  • Why continuous upskilling is becoming a business necessity rather than an L&D initiative
  • Which workforce assumptions need to be challenged before AI challenges them for you
  • Why the hardest decision in a period of reinvention is not what to build next but what to let go
  • Key lessons from Google's work and future

From Mission Critical to Business Critical: What NASA Can Teach Us About AI, Talent and Human Judgement

Robert Gibbsformer NASASenior Advisor, Associate Administrator for Mission Support (retired)
Description

From recruiting astronauts who can spend months together in isolation to assembling teams capable of landing on the Moon, exploring Mars and solving problems no one has encountered before, NASA has spent decades answering questions that every organization is now beginning to face.

The future of talent isn't simply about hiring faster. It's about identifying potential before it is visible, building teams that thrive under pressure, preparing for jobs that don't yet exist and ensuring people and AI work together when the stakes are highest. After all, if little green men did appear tomorrow, your hiring process probably isn't ready for them.

Join former NASA Associate Administrator Robert Gibbs as he explores what every business can learn from one of the world's most mission-critical organizations.

In this session, you'll discover:

  • What 'mission critical thinking' looks like and how leaders can apply it to building future-ready organizations on Earth
  • Why hiring for curiosity, adaptability and judgment increasingly matters more than hiring for experience alone
  • How NASA identifies talent for missions that may not launch for another decade and what this teaches us about Strategic Workforce Planning
  • Where AI agents can transform sourcing, workforce planning and talent decisions and where human judgment must remain firmly in control
  • What recruiting astronauts reveals about resilience, collaboration, trust and leadership under extreme pressure
  • How to build teams capable of solving problems that have never existed before in an age where AI is changing every role
  • Why the organizations that thrive won't simply automate recruitment, but will redesign how humans and AI make better decisions together

How Ryanair Is Deploying AI at Scale While Competing in One of Europe's Toughest Markets

Eddie WilsonRyanairCEO
Description

In this keynote, CEO Eddie Wilson shares how Ryanair has moved beyond experimentation to implementing optimization and machine learning solutions along with the deployment of AI agents across the business, which is driving greater efficiency, productivity, and faster decision-making. This is a story of execution at scale, and the continuous development for next level productivity which is critical as the business continues to grow.

For HR leaders, it raises critical questions: Is your organization AI ready and enabled? How do roles and operating models evolve? And what does leadership look like when humans and AI work side by side? This session cuts through the hype to explore what's working in practice and what type of organization it takes to embed AI at scale in a fast-moving, operational business.

  • An AI journey which has only just started: Building a 'second workforce' of AI agents that complements, rather than replaces, human capability
  • Making AI investments deliver measurable business value in a tighter economic and highly competitive environment
  • Balancing shareholder expectations, operational efficiency and customer experience throughout AI transformation
  • Controlling the narrative and leading organizational change so AI becomes part of the business, not a standalone technology project
  • Redesigning roles, decision-making and operating models for a workforce of people and AI
  • The Key Lessons to enable success: beyond experimentation to enterprise-wide execution
